Founder Member - Rosemary Oh

Rosemary, who is an experienced and talented teacher, not only introduced but sowed the seeds of the fine art of porcelain painting in the hearts of all her students. She first studied this art in Kuala Lumpur in 1984. It was then that she decided to embark on an art adventure that would take her through many years of enjoyment and fulfilment in many countries.

Rosemary has taught many talented students during her stay in Hong Kong. As she prepared to leave for Singapore, she left behind her legacy with her students, in the hope that they would spread it as they began teaching. Thus HKPPC came into reality in 1999.

Rosemary has held exhibitions of her own fine and delicate works in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taipei and Hong Kong. Many of her friends and relatives have benefited from gifts of her fine creations. She has humbly declared that she is still learning as she teaches, like many professional artists who are spending their lifetime perfecting their skill.

Membership Fee

Annual Membership is HK$200.00
• Membership dues are for one (1) calendar year January 1 - December 31
• Membership renewals are due January 1 each year and considered delinquent if not paid by January 31 of the current year.

• a Directory listing Members' names, addresses, telephone and email numbers
• invitation to sharing functions on painting techniques
• introduction to Guest Artists Demonstrations/Workshops held in Hong Kong and overseas
• admission to participate as HKPPC representatives at international porcelain painting conventions and seminars e.g. APAT Biennial Exhibitions and Conventions
• updates on the art of porcelain painting from international bodies

In addition, as a member you may:
• stand for an elected office in HKPPC
• exhibit your artworks on HKPPC website, publications, functions and exhibitions
• demonstrate your techniques at HKPPC functions and on HKPPC website
• participate at HKPPC's teaching services for the community
• participate in HKPPC's various visits
• order supplies and magazines through HKPPC sources
